The Parent Network at Florida Polytechnic University was created to provide parents and families with an opportunity to support the university and support each other. Although designed for Parents and families, anyone with a passion and desire to help students succeed during their time at Florida Poly can join with a contribution of any size to the Parent Leadership Fund within the last academic year.

The Parent Leadership Fund

The Parent Leadership Fund exists to support student programs through philanthropic and volunteer efforts of parents of Florida Poly students. There is no minimum investment to contribute to the Parent Leadership Fund and every gift is crucial to support students in having an enriching experience while at Florida Poly.

There are several key areas that the Parent Leadership Fund seeks to support including:

Orientation Programming, where students can acclimate and adjust to being a Phoenix. Adequate funding and programming for orientation is crucial to every student's success as they start off each semester.

General Scholarship Fund, which provides financial support for students to be able to continue their undergraduate studies at Florida Poly.

Student Emergency Fund, which exists to support students in times of crisis and transition. Assisting students during challenging times helps to ease the pressure for basic needs.

Survival Snack Kits, which are care packages that parents, families, and friends can purchase to support their student and other students during finals week.

Sponsorships begin about 1 month before finals and Distribution happens the week before finals.

The University Health and Wellness Office, that organizes events and provides resources throughout the year to educate students on mental health, diet tips, and the importance of exercise for better overall health.

And many other areas as needed and made possible through the contributions of generous parents and families.
