Hailey Skoglund

Hailey Skoglund is a junior at Florida Polytechnic University majoring in Business Analytics (Quantitative Economics and Econometrics). She is from Spring Hill, Florida. Her academic strengths have garnered a position on the President’s List throughout her time at Florida Poly. Skoglund is also an associate justice of the Student Government Association and a Presidential Ambassador.

She is visually impaired and is accompanied by her guide dog, Marli, from Guiding Eyes for the Blind in Yorktown Heights, New York.

Skoglund transferred from Pasco-Hernando State College where she was the vice president of Phi Theta Kappa Honor’s Society and a member of Psi Beta Honors Society.

She is very active in her community and volunteers with HPH Hospice, Oak Hill Hospital, and the Lighthouse for the Visually Impaired and Blind. She also works as a professional event violinist.

Skoglund plans to become a intellectual property attorney specializing in STEM innovations. “I love how Business Analytics at Florida Poly has served as the perfect bridge to connect my passions for STEM and Law. In my future, I will defend and protect the rights of brilliant minds to create a positive impact on the world.”
